where outdoor adventures begin

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT SUNBURST ADVENTURES

OPEN SINCE 1986

Fun for the Whole Family

Only two hours from Atlanta, we are located in the Blue Ridge mountain range in Batesville a small town in the county of Habersham. We are minutes from Helen, Clarkesville, and Cleveland and several state parks.

There are thousands of acres available for horseback riding and all kinds of outdoor activities with Sunburst Adventures. Families, adults, singles, and groups looking for a getaway are surprised to find us tucked away, but so close to shopping, dining, whitewater rafting, and just about any outdoor sport you could want.

For websites, brochures and other publications and outreach material, the following wording (revised June, 2015) is recommended (as space permits):

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, Sunburst Stables is prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity (not all bases apply to all programs). Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.
