Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, Sunbursts' 82 acres is situated in Habersham County, Ga. Known for our beautiful trail rides, our camp has it all. Sunburst  offers week long sessions for girls ages 8 to 15 who want a true horse camp experience.  Camp is designed for beginners to advanced riders.  

Campers will enjoy two horseback sessions each day. Sessions include riding fundumentals, basic and advanced movements, safety procedures and control. Our themed rides utilize those learned skills and make it fun. Scavenger hunts, treasure hunts, bareback riding, a task ride, poker ride and a sunset ride are a few of the rides during the week.

Each camper will have the opportunity to get to know several horses through grooming, feeding and barn care. English and Western riding styles are offered. This is designed to build self-confidence, responsibility and personal growth. Our teaching will NOT interfere with techniques the students my be learning from their current riding instructor.

Campers live in an air-conditioned bunhouse with bathroom facilities. Health and delicious meals are enjoyed in our  dining hall. 3-acre pond with water-trampoline and blob, climbing wall and ropes course, mini-animal farm, and our  zipline course.

We take advantage of the area's rich natural wonders. We are situated with lake Burton, Seed, Rabun, Tallulah and Unicoi all within our reach, for a variety of water sports such as swimming, river tubing, kayaking and sailing. Evening outings such as rollerskating, bowling, putt-putt, campout and smores fill the evening hours.
