With 30 miles of trails next to the Chattahoochee National Forest, Sunburst Stables is an ideal starting place for enjoying the mountains of North Georgia from the back of a horse or for geting a bird's-eye view zipping through the trees on our zipline course. Offering 40 horses, suitable for all sorts of riders, and trips ranging from a one hour ride with panoramic views to 13 miles of trotting through terrain that has awed visitors from around the world. Our zipline canopy tour provides a different view of the property by flying through the trees on one of our eight cables. Sunbursts' tour is the only one in Georgia with multiple 1000 ft lines, 1200 ft line and the only zipline which goes through a cave.

If you visit in the summer, you may see children bouncing into the pond from the water trampoline. That's one of the activities that keeps girls and boys from 8 to 15 involved during the nine one-week camp sessions. These include horseback riding, but also an overnight campout, tubing down the Chattahoochee, skating, bowling, putt-putt and swimming at nearby lakes, rivers and waterfalls. The year round facility makes a comfortable vacation destination for families, thanks to cabins with one, two and three bedrooms, fireplaces, hot tubs, pool tables, flat screened TV's. A bunkhouse that will accommodate a large group of up to 18 people is also available.
